Help Us Change Our Name

We need your help!  In an effort to appeal to a broader market we are changing our name and would appreciate your feedback.

Why change our name?  RSVP (The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) started as a national program in the 70’s to help older adults find engaging volunteer opportunities.  Several years ago the national organization dropped Retired and Senior Volunteer Program from the acronym leaving many confused about what we do.

A second reason is that RSVP of Boulder County differs from the national program as we not only providing volunteer matching in the community, but we also provide safety net services to adults with disabilities and seniors in the community. Furthermore, we welcome volunteers of all ages as Safety Net Volunteers.

RSVP will still provide the same quality services and “RSVP” (55+ volunteer recruitment program) will remain a program under the new umbrella name.  We appreciate you helping us create a name that inspires community involvement.
